Thanks to the input received from tournament anglers, guides, shop owners and pro staffers, we've made an already popular and effective series of technique-specific rods even better. Sporting a new look and new actions, these rods are all about performance! Over the years, some of the techniques have changed, fisheries have changed and anglers have adjusted, so we too have adjusted, totally redesigning our entire selection of walleye rods, improving the actions with even more precise tapers and length adjustments to cover the most technical aspects of the fishery, especially where light weight and sensitivity are an important factor for success. There are four Jig and Pitching Jig models in our proprietary blended fibers with Fuji Alconite guides and four in GLX with Recoil guides. When lightweight and sensitivity really matters we recommend GLX!! You'll discover there's a world of difference!"

MULTI-TAPER DESIGN
Since 1982, we’ve pushed the boundaries of manufacturing technology, materials innovation, and product design. That’s why G. Loomis rods deliver superior performance, heightening angler experience and effectiveness on the water. While there are countless examples of this philosophy in action, one technology in particular encapsulates our drive to build the most advanced rods in the world: Multi-Taper Design.
Multi-Taper Design is best described as a series of “micro-tapers” within the overall taper of the rod. This unique, proprietary process allows us to use more material on potential break points and less material everywhere else. To accomplish this, we manufactured a custom rolling table...and it’s the only one in existence today. The result is a catalog of precisely defined actions that strike a perfect balance between durability and performance.
